About Danny
Danny is a passionate advocate for canine education, training, and dog sports, bringing more than 16 years of hands-on experience as a competitor, trainer, instructor, and judge.
Over the years, Danny has developed extensive experience across a variety of canine sports, including upland hunting, hunt tests, Chukar Challenges, and dock diving. His dedication to developing confident, capable dogs while helping handlers better understand and communicate with their dogs is at the heart of his training philosophy.
In addition to competing and teaching, Danny has an extensive background as a dock diving judge. He has judged for UKC, North America Diving Dogs (NADD), and International Dog Sports (IDS), and was one of the very first judges with the American Kennel Club (AKC) when the organization entered the sport of dock diving.
As an instructor, Danny is known for his patient, approachable, and encouraging teaching style. He understands that every dog and handler learns differently and works to create a positive, rewarding environment where both can build confidence, strengthen their partnership, and reach their individual goals.
Whether working with a hunting dog in the field or helping a team develop their skills in canine sports, Danny’s focus remains the same: building a strong foundation, bringing out the best in each dog, and helping handlers enjoy the process along the way.
